My 9 month old has always been a very good sleeper. She was sleeping through the night by 1 1/2 months old and transitioned into her crib at 6 months old without any trouble. Well, I made the mistake of letting my baby sleep on me during her naps. I just loved cuddling her and didn't want to put her in her crib. I'm really regretting that decision now. She still sleeps all night in her crib by herself with no problems but naps are a nightmare. She REFUSES to nap anywhere but on me. I rock her to sleep and try to lay her in her crib but as soon as she even starts to kind of get away from my body she wakes up screaming. I've laid her down in the crib anyways, try to give her a pacifier and place my hand on her chest but she still just screams. I've tried laying her down and leaving the room and letting her cry but she never stops. 20 min later she is still screaming and crying with no end in sight. I go and get her, get her back to sleep and try laying her in the crib again with the same results. I've done that continuously 3 or 4 times in a row with no progress. Even though I love cuddling with her it makes it very hard to get anything done in my house. Any advice for getting her to nap away from me would be greatly appreciated! Please help a mama out!
