Plateau?? :/
Sorry for the long post in advance, I just want to give as many details as I can!
I feel as though I hit a point in my fitness journey where I’m not seeing the progress I thought, so I’m just seeking advice as to what I push harder at?
I’ve been on my journey since January and I do see my legs a lot more toned and I feel WAY stronger than I ever was but I literally feel like I have a huge lower pouch still. I’m about 114lbs and my weight really hasn’t changed but I see the difference in my clothes so I’m going based off that.
My fitness regimen mostly includes going to the gym at least 4-5x a week. Each time I go I focus on cardio machines, then afterwards I focus on using weights and doing various body workouts (ex: squats, lounges, crunches & many others). And to give my body a break at least one of the days I go, I’ll take a zumba class in place of the body workouts. Outside of the gym I mostly just try to walk/move a lot at work and school.
As far my diet goes, I didn’t go on a serious diet as I’m already mostly plant based so most of my meals are already relatively healthy and “restrictive” if you will. I really don’t have many “cheat” meals, as I don’t really crave them just around that time of the month and I just make sure I don’t crazy lol. I kind of work with a PT at the gym, which is more recent, the meal plan they have set for me is honestly very generic and feels like A LOT of eating. Like snacking before and after each meal. Some days I just can’t keep up and I feel physically uncomfortable eating so much.
