demand or scheduled feedings?

For my other breast feeding mommas, are y’all feeding on demand or do y’all have a set schedule for feedings..?  
If you have a set schedule, what is it? 
If you’re feeding on demand, how do you find time to get things done?

It’s not a schedule but it IS parent directed feeding. We start the day between 7 and 7:30 and I don’t let her go past 3 hrs during the day. She’s pretty much regulated herself to a little schedule. Sometime she gets super hungry and I feed her early with no guilt or anxiety.

I feed on demand, my little is 8 weeks old and sleeps about 6-7 hours at night then feeds and sleeps for another 2 hours, she is then awake and cluster feeds like 3 times in 3 hours and then will take a long 4 hour nap and then cluster feed again about every hour to hour and a half until she falls asleep for the night. She kind of guided and put herself in that routine but it works good for us. I figure she knows what she needs and she’s not going to overeat and you can’t spoil a baby this young. Breastfeeding definitely feels like a full time job!

My little guy feeds on demand every 1-1 1/2 hours. Sometimes he'll take a midday nap for 2 house and I can get things done, but I don't let him sleep more than 2 hours or he doesn't sleep at night

Depends on her mood. I do mainly on demand unless she goes too far in between feeds.

I mean it’s not necessarily a schedule but I do feed her every 2 hours during the day regardless if she’s giving her typical hunger cues, she usually gets distracted and will go 4+ hours if I don’t. At night it’s demand, she goes about 6 hour stretch then another 4 hour stretch so that’s why I decide every 2 hours during the day.

Generally every 2-2.5 hours from first daylight feeding (around 7:30-8:30 AM) and she usually wakes up once at night (between 2:30 and 3:30 AM) to eat (roughly 4 hours from her last feeding before bed). Still trying to go for 40 minute nursing sessions still but some are only 20-30 (she turned 5 weeks yesterday); her pediatrician told me not to wake her up to eat as she’s gaining appropriately and she won’t dream feed.

We do every 2-3 hours during day and demand at night. We just got home on Tuesday but that’s what our dr recommended and it’s working great!
