Cramps/ contractions?!

I'm 35 weeks pregnant tomorrow and I'm getting lower back cramps that have started to move to my side. I'm also getting one on my lower front right abdomen that's been pretty constant but not to bad. Are those contractions? Should I wait till it gets worse to go in to see the doc? I touched down there and was wet, which I'm usually not. Is this just early labor signs.
