Can't sleep! Unisom recommended?

Can i take Unisom while pregnant to help me sleep or stay calm at night? I have a hard time sleeping and or staying asleep. Please help ...

I took a half of a tablet of unisom throughout my whole first trimester as recommended by my Dr. Helped get me to sleep and helped decrease nausea.

Unisom is benedryl, just two different brand names. You can take diphenhydramine(the generic for benedryl but literally the exact same medication) for half the price and the same result. Totally safe for baby and of it helps you sleep, even more so. (:

I'm taking unison now for morning sickness. I take half a .25mg one. Given to me by my doctor. Works wonders.

I'm a big fan of unisom. I double checked with my doctor and I can take it throughout my whole pregnancy. It doesn't make me feel hung over and totally weird like Benadryl so I'd be surprised if they have the exact same ingredients but I know they are both antihistamines. I like the unisom that dissolves in my mouth. It definitely helps me sleep. Good luck!

Definitly! It even helps with morning sickness just don't get hooked only like once in s blue moon any medicine or supplement during pregnancy carries risks even epidural lol so anything but meds is preferred but if your having like s super crazy night n just can't sleep unison is fine
