Should I take my baby?

My mom has been in the hospital for a couple days because she has an ulcer for the meantime my husband took care of him but I miss my baby.  Should take my baby with me to go visit my mom?

Take it from an advanced practice registered nurse. Hospitals are a breeding ground for germs and bacteria. If you can avoid it, refrain from taking your son to the hospital and reduce the risk of infection.

I’m a nurse and I didn’t take my baby when my dad was in hospital. Hospitals are just disgusting despite the efforts of cleaning staff.
But if you really want to take baby, what type of unit is your mother on? Can you babywear? I would consider wearing baby to a hospital if you think you can keep them from touching anything or having anything/anyone touching baby. Can your mum leave the building and visit with you and baby outside? That might be an option - we have areas family can visit in outside of the building.

I had the same dilemma when my SO’s mom was in the hospital. She was begging us to bring our little dude to see her. We ultimately decided it just wasn’t worth the risk of him catching something. I hope your Mom gets out soon!! ♥️
