How long does it take preseed to dry up once inserted?

Like if we couldn’t bd till 3-4 hrs later would it still be effective or would it have dried up by then?

Dried up by then for sure! I would use it 15-30 minutes before sex. I always used it right before because we would foreplay for awhile before actually having sex. You want the lube to still be "good" when he cums, if your using it for pregnancy. 
I always kinda felt awkward having it in the bedroom because my husband got very "stage freight" /stressed out when he knew it was baby making time. Plus the whole application is less then sexy. so after we would get things going I would just stay I have to use the bathroom and insert it real quick.
