Cute ways to tell SO parents/your parents?

I'm trying to figure out cute ways to tell our parents that we are expecting. We want to do it in a special way, but honestly I can't think of anything. Any ideas? Or stories?

I told my husband's cousin (a photographer) that I was pregnant. She came over later that day to "test a new camera lens" and take some pictures of us. I planned the whole thing, but she acted like it was her idea. She had us write the thing we loved most about the other. Then we turned around and read each other's boards. Mine said "you're going to be a dad!"
He FREAKED OUT. Here are some of the pictures, not all. 
To tell our families, we showed them the slideshow of pictures and videotaped their reactions. We're making a compilation video of all of them.

For our first I got my parents a "grandparents" picture frame and where the picture goes put the words coming soon and the due date. They loved it!

There are heaps of ways on Pinterest if you wanted :) if you've got a pet or baby already you could incorporate them, or depending on when they are due a theme, or balloons that say expecting to pop due ... Etc?

For our first hubby told his dad so I don't know what was said and his big mouth sister had already told his mom. my mother had told me to get pregnant in Aug I guess to hopefully have baby born on her bday in may I was trying to be pregnant by July to have kiddo by April cause in Texas may is MURDER to an extremely pregnant woman. Well got pregnant in Aug so I told hey for once I took your advice and she said that's great about what? And I told her I got pregnant in Aug. For my dad we were texting just having normal convo and I slipped in a pic of the ultrasound and he replied to the comment before that and also asked what's the picture? And I told him your first grandchild. This time I am thinking of getting a big sister shirt for out daughter and then texting a pic to all the family and seeing how quickly they each catch on as to what the pic really is about rather than just another random cute pic of our kid
