This sweet girl is 15 1/2 months old and still not walking so we start physical therapy on the 24th. Anyone else experiencing this or experienced it with a older sibling?

My son is 15 months and is not walking. He walks holding one hand, cruises around holding onto furniture, he takes 5 steps here and there on his own. He’s just super cautious.

My 15 month old also isnt walking yet, he'll take 2-3 steps at a time and has stood up on his own without assistance a few times as well. But his fine motor skills and communication skills are at closer to the 18-20 month range (as told by our doctor and reaffirmed by day care providers). So we figure he's busy building his brain muscle and the rest will follow when hes ready, lol. We did PT early on for his rolling, sitting, and pulling to stand and eventually it just turned into stretches and play time, and I dont want to pay $230 2x a week for playing. Itll happen when it happens, and at this point we're sure hes going to go into full sprints everywhere when he does get going so we're ok with him taking his time lol.

My girl is 16.5 months and I’ve had her in PT since she was about 9mo. She didn’t crawl until 12-13m. She would cruise alone furniture after she learned how to grab and pull herself up. Just last Thursday she built up the confidence to walk across the living room to her daddy! I was so proud of her. And now she hasn’t stopped. I highly recommend PT. A lot of it was suggestions on what to do with baby to encourage a certain area that needs work before they can walk. But the extra support gave me piece of mind that we’re working towards a goal at her pace, and we’ll get there! Good luck to you gals!

My daughter is 16 months & still not walking. I have her in PT & she’s improved so much. She’ll stand for about 10 seconds before slowly lowering herself. She has better balance when she uses the push walker or hold on to my fingers to walk. Her posture and everything has improved

my son just started walking this week, at a little past 16 months. we were never recommended physical therapy, just told that he would do it when he’s ready. Hope your little girl does well and gets it!

My daughter will be 16 months in two days and is still not walking independently yet. She walks with her push toy or while holding our hands and loves to cruise along the furniture. We haven't consulted with the Dr yet or considered PT, we think she might just need some more time. All the best!

My son is also not walking yet, but he seems super close.  He does cruise along furniture and will take one or two steps from one thing to another, or walk while holding my hands, but that’s it.  We haven’t started physical therapy for it though.
