Dental work while pregnant...

So, I am 21 weeks and I need a filling. In 2013 I was 13 weeks and had a cavity filled and a week later I was in the hospital getting a d&c because I miscarried, so I'm so scared.

I know the 2nd trimester is the safest time but I honestly dont want to risk it. I expressed my concerns to my dentist and he basically tried to say I dont care about my teeth and that waiting is pointless. I mean, to me it seems like he just wants to get paid.

I'm someone who cant handle pain when it comes to my head or mouth, and I have a hard time getting numb so I have to get A LOT of numbing.

I care more about my baby girl than I care about my tooth. Pull it out after I have her for all I care...

What is your advice?
