What’s in your hospital bag? 😫

I need a checklist have watched multiple YouTube videos but feel like they over pack. Are there some mommies out there with tips and things the hospital provided for them and baby ?

My hospital provides: onesies, hats, blankets, mesh underwear, pads, diapers.
So I packed: robe, nursing gown, slipper socks, nursing bra, going home outfit, chapstick, hair ties, Tums, 10ft phone charger, toiletries, going home outfit for baby.

Whenever I get around to it I’m packing going home clothes for baby and me, chargers, and a big sticky to remember my glasses because I forgot them with my first. My hospital provides everything for baby and toiletries for me and I’m totally comfortable in just the hospital gown.

Well the will be baby number 6 for me so, I usually pack what I know I will need or want. I hate having to carry out more than than necessary when I'm discharged from the hospital. Plus the unpacking it all sucks when you get home. This is what I pack...
 For me: 
- Change of clothes to wear home ( I take advantage of the hospital gowns when I'm there because well the messy part of labor and after labor. Not trying to ruin my own clothes) 
- glasses, contacts, case, and solution
- socks
- a brush, toothbrush and toothpaste ( the hospital usually can provide that too, I just like to use my own),body wash, and a hair tie
- makeup ( just a very small amount)
- phone and charger
For the baby:
- 2 to 3 outfits ( because well the weather in my state varies for temperature in early May)
- swaddle
* My hospital provides diapers, formula( if you don't breastfeed) and a pacifer, nasal bulb. They encourage you to take home any unused items for the baby.

I’ll give you the rundown of what’s in mine, also knowing that I’m going for a natural birth at a birth center, so I’ll only be there for 4-8 hours after birth, not multiple days like some people.
My super minimalist bag (seriously, everything fits in my diaper bag):
-bath robe to labor in
-bra to labor in, particularly in the water
-nursing bra for after
-going home outfit (soft maternity dress)
-shorts for my husband to wear during labor
-a change of clothes for my husband
-2 going home outfits for baby (in case he has a freak blow out and we need a backup one)
-a swaddle blanket
-a couple diapers and travel wipes (our birth center doesn’t provide this)
-1 pair of socks for each of us
-a depends for myself
-essential oils for labor
-coconut oil (best moisturizer ever)
-lip balm
-hair ties
-gum and mints
-plastic bag for really dirty clothes and things
-list minute stuff like charger, phone, paperwork, etc.
I think that’s it! This is my second time and I totally overpacked the first time around!
