Baby shower invites?🎉

I have a decent sized group of people coming from across a few states and my mom says a Facebook event would be easier (and also free) but I feel like paper invites are more personal. What are you ladies doing??

What about email invites? Paperless post does some beautiful ones. They are individual and lovely, but save the environment and the postage. There are many different sites both free and paid services.

Paper invites really don’t have to be expensive or time consuming. Get a return address stamp. But honestly, even at 31, I don’t take FB or e-invite invitations very seriously. 
I’ve only been to 1 e-invite party and I knew the couples situation was tight... but otherwise I feel like it comes across as cheap if you have the time and money to do it.

We have people coming from all over the country and for that reason we used paper invites. I felt like taking the time and energy made it more personal and would make them feel like they’re appreciated and that we really wanted them there instead of a thoughtless Facebook invite.

Do what works for you! Some invitees prefer online cause it has reminders and alot of people lose their paper invites. Some people like paper cause it's more personal. You can't make everyone happy! ;) just do you.

I despise electronic invites, cards, etc. And find them very tacky. You can easily select all to invite to a Facebook event but taking the time to have an actual invitation sent to someone shows that you care about them attending.

I used something called paperless post. You can pick a design and customize it and then it’s emailed to everyone and you can track RSVPs in the app. It wasn’t very expensive and feels more personal than a Facebook event!

I did paper invites because not everyone is on fb and my family is pretty personal so I would get a lot of back lash had I not done paper invites. Plus it makes it more real and fun

I think for bigger and more personal events like this, to keep classy would be to send invites. Let’s keep paper and pen alive! 🤷🏼‍♀️

I don’t take FB invites very seriously 🤷🏻‍♀️ so I probably wouldn’t take the event seriously
