Looks like my May baby is going to be a April baby. They have been concerned with my protein levels and my blood platelet count for a few days. Had me do a another 24 hour urine catch, a little higher. Another blood test platelets worse. They called me let me know told me to come in to check blood pressure. Said if it was fine then I will be fine. It was fine 110/70 Then somewhere between that time changed their minds and sent me to the hospital. Yet another blood test and urine catch. Blood stable after steroids for her lungs but is messing with my blood sugar bc I also have GD. Decided to keep me another day. Finally urine was ready to test again and it spiked. They finally felt comfortable to label it preeclampsia without high blood pressure. They feel comfortable with delivery. This is after I was having some minor contractions and the doctor told me right then and there if they do get worse they are not going to attempt to stop them. So here we are. I don’t know what to expect, and of course my parents are in TN and upset. They can’t be here. Dad is blaming husband for making joke bc they are going away so close to the date that you should have her out of spite. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Mom had wanted to be in the room and now that’s not going to happen. Sitting here all stressed out waiting for a repeat on my blood to make sure it’s safe due to platelets which can affect blood clotting, the doctor and my husband. Little contractions are back right in my back. Long night ahead of us over here.
