Baby Shower #2?

Question

My husband and I are expecting baby number 2-- boy, at the end of March. We've already had a baby shower for our first LO-- boy. My sister wants to throw me a shower for baby number 2, which I would gracefully accept (much smaller this time).

My question is- Do you all think it's ok to have another baby shower even though I've already had one for my first boy? Or maybe just do a celebration party? I'm torn!

My sister in law is pregnant with her second son due in about 6 weeks. I'm giving her a "baby BBQ" to celebrate her and the baby and I put on all the invite if u want to gift diapers would be perfect because she still has everything from her first son. I see no problem with a second baby shower.

They are usually call sprinkles bc you shouldn't have two showers

I had a baby shower for my 2nd son when my first was 2 1/2. Only person that said something was my aunt...and ironically enough she just threw her daughter a baby shower for her 2nd son.

Well, I think it's bull when people say you can't have 2 showers. My son is 3 and I have absolutely NOTHING left of his baby stuff at all. Period. Because I said I wasn't having any more. I'm having a baby shower with this one for sure. If not, I won't have anything at all. I'm disabled and so having 1 child is hard enough financially, now going to have 2 is going to be a wreck. But I'll make it work. Plus I'm a single mommy. So it will work out. Don't know if it's a girl or not. If it's a boy I'll have 24 mo clothes and up and boy toys. But if it's a girl, I'm gonna have to get clothes and everything else too.

A lot people do diaper and wipe showers or even books. It also works to call it a "sprinkle" instead of a shower and and if the boys are born in different seasons it helps to get clothing in the right season.
