2 placentas?

Ok so I went to the doctor today and they said I had 2 placentas, the doctor didn't seem to worried about it, but I was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else? 
By the way, I only have one baby!! Lol

Did they say it's possible the original one split? That's what happened with me. There would only be a concern really if there is a blood vessel connected to both placentas, but if you had an ultrasound, that would have been seen.
