Okay....who said 2 years?! Really?! It's take people 2 to 4 years to get to really know someone. I know people who get married even earlier and that's great but some people like to be in a relationship for a while so they know what to expect. It's okay to have a long relationship as long as you can talk to each other about marriage and you are okay with it.

Depends on your age and where you are in life. If you are over 28 for example and both have finished school and work full time, after a year you should be talking marriage.

If you are young, in college, no stable job, don't know yourselves that's different.
