Anyone quit their jobs?

I’m thinking of quitting my job to be a SAHM. Was curious if anyone else has done this.

I quit my job 2 years ago, before my first son was born. 
I’m originally from Canada where maternity leave is 12 months (and recently they added an option to take 18months). So when I moved the the US for my husband and his career, the deal was that I get to take at least a full year off after each child. When our first turned a year old, I was 3 months pregnant with our second so there was no point in finding a new job for just 6 months. I’m glad it worked out that way though because as much as I do miss my career, my oldest is almost 2 now and I don’t feel anywhere near ready to leave him in someone else’s care all day. Our goal now is for me to be a full-time SAHM until our youngest is in school.

I wish. I am the breadwinner for our family so being a SAHM is sadly not an option for us. But I wish it were.

I am a stay at home mom weren’t changed it any other way!! I was going to go back to work after my leave but I bonded to my son way to much and I want to see him grow instead of someone watching him grow. If I did go back to work I weren’t see him for 11 hrs :( so I am home.... if you can do it do it. I might go back for part time later on in the years if I want to to get a little bit of cash in the pocket. I would love to have 3 children ♥️

I was forced out of my job during pregnancy by employer. It was for the best though. I am doing Daycare, which is much needed in my community and I get to be with my daughter. Plus even though I was making good money before, the income is better considering I dont have to pay 500 a month in daycare.

I was working full time but I got fired because I was pregnant on Halloween. Now I'm a stay at home mom and I wouldn't have it any other way.

My job closed. I worked as an assistant manager at a kids clothing store and it ended up filing bankruptcy while I was on leave. when I was due to go back they were doing liquidation and there was no way that I could have my by law breaks to pump so my drs office filled out a form for me to have disability an additional 8 weeks. They closed and now I get to file unemployment, only downfall is I have to apply for jobs every week when I have no intentions of going back to work at this time.
