Period after chemical pregnancy

So I was really confused about when I would get my normal period after miscarriage at 5 weeks. I bled for 6 days and from reading different responses, a lot of women were counting cycle day 1 as the minute they started bleeding from comical pregnancy. My dr told me this is absolutely not the case. That bleeding is not your period it is the miscarriage and your normal cycle should return anywhere from 3-6 weeks. My question is I've seen many women post that they got pregnant again as little as 15 days post chemical pregnancy, is this common and do you have a healthy pregnancy?
