She just turned 18 months and she recently had pneumonia and she is still recovering but she is basically fully recovered.

Since she was sick we let her sleep with us in the bed and we were obviously there to make her feel as comfortable as possible.

Now she has her energy back and will sometimes play fine. But I'll be holding her and she will just turn like jelly and want to get out of arms. I'll put her on the floor and she will just cry so much. I'd I dont follow her she throws herself and cries

At night she used to sleep really well and in her crib and wake up maybe once. Now she is waking up 4-5 times and crying her eyes out, we try to comfort her and calm her down but nothing works, we try laying her down in our bed but she rolls around crying. The only way to successfully get her to fall asleep again is rocking her but when we try to lay her down she starts crying again and its takes maybe an hour to get her to sleep and lay her down without waking up.

She is crying all the time, we are both becoming exhausted waking up so many times during the night.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
