Hey so I’m a sixteen year old lesbian and I’m pretty open about lgbt issues and stuff in my school. Today as I was biking to school a few boys started shouting slurs at me from their truck. They called me a “diesel dyke” and a faggot.

I was so afraid that I started to have a panic attack and immediately started crying once I ran into the school.

This is the first time anything like this has ever happened to me and I’m so incredibly upset.

The words don’t even bother me but the fact that it’s 20 fucking 19 and people still have this mentality. YOUNG PEOPLE.

And I’m also afraid that it might escalate past verbal abuse.

I just really need some support right now... I can’t stop thinking about it and I need something positive.
