Are my boys normal?

My boys are 6 and 8 and for a while now they have been laughing while looking at each others penises, they constantly want to look at each others bums and and find it funny? Or they will say things like "I'm gonna put my pee pee on you!" I'd just like to know if this is normal or is it a sign something has happened to them?

Whats not normal is that they call their private parts pee pee. Lets call genitalia by their name even with children. Also what are you doing about it? They are definitely old enough to understand whats appropriate and whats not.

Definitely normal. I just constantly remind them to stop and that no one is to touch their private parts. That they need to keep their hands to themselves because it’s not their body. I have 3 boys. Currently dealing with their obsession with butts, penis, farts and poop. They’re 4 and 8. My almost 2 year old I’m sure will be the same.

Depending on if you get any helpful comments or not, you could always ask the school if those kind of things are alright for their ages. I’m a high school teacher and my guess would be that  they probably know it isn’t allowed which is why they’re being silly about it ..

I think it's normal. Boys that age are obsessed with penises, it doesnt get better I work at a high school and they still think penises are funny. I'd just keep telling them it's not appropriate. I'd also explain about privacy and private parts more
