When will you start ttc again?

Question

My gynecologist told me to wait for 4 months before starting again to allow my body to recover and she recommended that i start taking aspirin and folic acid in this waiting period..
My friend went through misscarriage too and her dr said that she can start immediately..
I'm 100% fine with waiting because i actually want a break to focus on my health and my toddler but I'm just curious about the doctors recommendations. Like why do some recommend a break while others recommend that couples start immediately after the 1st cycle?

I had a miscarriage at 8 weeks. My doctor told me to wait for my first cycle then try immediately.

I think it just depends on how far you are and the severity of the miscarriage.  We didn’t see a sac yet and my body rejected at 6 weeks so my miscarriage was all natural.  I went in for hcg levels yesterday and she said 30 days after that to start trying.  How far along were you?

I had a stillbirth at almost 20 weeks at the end of February. My doctor said to wait three months before TTC. I’ve read there’s mixed opinions with if you should wait 3 or 6 months once you’re further along, but there’s not much research behind waiting longer. I think sometimes they tell you to wait for emotional reasons. Right now I know I don’t feel ready, but we will start trying again in June. While a new baby will never replace our baby, we are also so ready to be parents to a child that we can raise here on Earth.

I started one cycle post d&c. Out this month but plan to try again after AF 🙏

I was almost 10 weeks and had a d&c. At my two week follow up my doctor said we could start trying right away and don’t need to wait for a new cycle.

I had a missed miscarriage at 14 weeks and a d&c. I was told to wait a month. My period came back 29 days after surgery. I had the thickness of my endometrium lining checked a few days before ovulation and it was thick enough to sustain a pregnancy so we tried and I got pregnant. I have my first ultrasound today and I'm incredibly sick. 6 weeks 3 days. 
I tested positive for two different types of the MTHFR gene mutation. So either my body was too toxic from the folic acid or my blood was too thick and clotted in the placenta. 
I started baby aspirin as soon as I found out and a prenatal with l-methylfolate.

Was told to wait 1 cycle. We conceived after 2 cycles. I go for my first scan tomorrow so fingers crossed xx

My doctor told me not to have sex until I have my first cycle, but I don’t think you have to wait cause some people don’t. She said inserting anything inside of you can cause infection and then you will have to return to get treated. But I guess everyone ain’t the same some persons may heal more quickly than others.
