If you have or had an induction date, what's the reason?

Baby has a measurement that is a bit worrisome so the doc doesn’t want me to go past 40 and she’s gone the entire week I’m due. After talking to another doctor, I’m thinking the earlier the better for baby so the measurement doesn’t get to much over what they want.

I’m getting induced on Friday April 12 (due date April 15) 
At 38 weeks baby girl was measuring at 8 pounds 13 oz so my OB said it’s time for her to come out

first I had induction due to being well overdue (first son was 13 days late) ... second I was booked in at 42 weeks for induction just incase I got that far luckily i only went 3 days overdue so didn't need it ... this time i got a growth scan tomorrow and gotta see consultant after to see what's going to happen as I was measuring 39 + weeks at 36 weeks so could end up being induced (well this is what I'm guessing and preparing myself to be told)
