Cramps bloody cramps. Pun intended.

Sooooooo I had my Mirena IUD fitted in December, the process was extremely painful for days after and I have still been getting at least a couple mild cramps to severe cramps everyday. My natural cramps are excruciating, luckily they're not quite as bad but for it to happen every day is driving me crazy. I have had 3 periods since the insertion, around all of which were the more painful cramps but the daily twinges are so annoying. I have been back to the doctor since and they reckon there's nothing wrong and everything's in the right place. So why the pains?! The burger not answer they can offer is that it hasn't been in for 6 months yet and to allow it time, which makes sense and I'd love to fully believe but I can't help thinking it doesn't feel right. I've also developed terrible spots 😒 has anyone else had a similar experience with this?
