At the end of May my husband and I are supposed to go to his cousins wedding. We live in Canada but he and his family are American so the wedding is in the US. His aunt wants to get us an 18 year old baby sitter who we have never met to watch my daughter while we go to the wedding. I am stressed to the max about this and said it may be better if I just don't go at all to the wedding. My daughter would be in a strange hotel without her normal bed etc, and with a stranger. I just can't see it going well. As of right now she is EBF but will start purees this month. In this situation would you get a sitter and go to some of the wedding or none? I have only left her once with my mom for 2 hours after she was already in bed.

I just need to know if I am being crazy not wanting to leave her to go to the wedding at 7 months old.
