Baby shower for my rainbow?

I am currently 15+2 with my rainbow baby. In the last 2 years I have lost 3 babies. My daughter at 21 weeks, one of my twins at 9 weeks, and the other my only son at 19 weeks. I have 2 living children both girls and am currently pregnant with another little girl. My youngest will be 5 in july. After she was born we moved around a lot and I lost a lot of my baby items. I currently only have a baby swing and a bumbo seat. My question is would it be appropriate for me to have a baby shower for my little rainbow? I know typically people only have a baby shower for their first child which I did, but my first child is nearly 7. I don't want anyone to think I'm trying to be greedy.

Have a shower and have fun. We have three but they were all from prior relationships and the youngest will be 6 when little miss arrives. All three are also boys and this is the first girl. My family isn’t very supportive. And most of my friends live on the other side of the country. So if his family wants to throw us a shower I wouldn’t complain. But I’ve also started shopping baby deals and have gotten the travel system, a pack and play with bassinet and changing station, a boppy, a my brest friend, and some cloth diapers already for around $300 total. There are some great Facebook pages that list deal on baby stuff. We’re still going to register so if anyone wants to get us anything they can but also because most places do a discount when you close it out.

You know your crowd best. Why not go for it? Or maybe if a full baby shower would be offensive in your community, just do a diaper sprinkle instead.

I plan on having a baby shower for my rainbow as my two living children (from a previous marriage) will be 10 and 12 by the time baby arrives! I have nothing for a baby anymore 😭
