Vaccination problems?

Anyone have any issues after their baby’s 2 month vaccinations? My boy is 2 months today and has an appointment next week, I’m a little nervous of him possibly getting sick from one. How has everyone else’s experience been?

Your child will not get the disease from the vaccine. They might have a few mild symptoms, but that's just the body's immune system reacting appropriately and developing the antibodies it needs to protect them from the really scary stuff.

It's very rare. & I'd rather have my child get a little fever from a vaccine rather than die of a disease that a vaccination can prevent

My doctor and I had a long talk. I always wanted to vaccinate, but was considering a delayed schedule. He told me there’s a possibility of soreness and/or fever. However, he said he has treated zero patients who have had severe reactions, versus like the 5 he has treated who have actually gotten ill from NOT getting the vaccines. He mentioned this was over a 15 year span. He also explained all the crazy science and research. Ha.

Fine. My son was fine. He just wanted to be held all day. But the next day was himself again.

I recommend the book The Vaccine-Friendly Plan. This has been so helpful in understanding each vaccine on the CDC schedule, it’s risk and what it protects baby from and the risk of those diseases 😊

Anytime my son has gotten his vaccinations all that tends to happen is that he gets a mild fever sleeps or just wants to be held and be with me. It’s normal I just love him and keep him next to me by the following day he’s himself again
