So I have a pretty straight forward birth story lol

I was to be induced at 8pm yesterday,4/9. We went to my parents for an early dinner. We were clearing the table at 5:30pm and I go “omg I just peed myself. Wait...no...omg...it’s not stopping!” All of us just started busting out laughing! So my husband and I rush to our house, calling my midwife on the way. I showered off real quick. We grab our bags and head to the hospital. I didn’t start feeling light contractions until we were almost to the hospital (6:45pm).

Got into a room about 7:30pm. Cervix checked and I’m 2cm,90% effaced.

Around 9pm I begin crying in pain from the contractions! Hit me out of nowhere! So epidural came 45 minutes later (lordddd almighty this helped me the whole entire time...more on that coming).

She checks me around 1am. Im at 5cm! We decide to use the peanut ball and by 3am, I’m at 8! We switch sides with peanut ball...go to a 10 by 3:45am! I’m still feeling absolutely no pressure or anything happening down there lol

Midwife is called & comes in. I do a couple practice pushes beginning at 4:45am....I legit can’t even feel pressure nor hold my legs up on my own LOL that’s how good this epidural was! Didn’t feel one single thing. Followed her orders on pushing...baby girl born at 5:13am!

Only 3 small dissolvable stitches and just so in love!
