Decreasing work hours?
Its me again. Hoping yall arnt getting tired of "achy" posts.
As I've mentioned I work non stop 5 hours on my feet at a high pace cafeteria. I don't ever get a minute to sit down through out my work day.
Its gotten to the point where towards the end of my work day I am having so much pelvic pressure and pain that its hard to walk, and now I'm having period like cramps at night, that go around towards my back.
I am high risk for preterm labor and get checked every other week and so far everything looks good in that department, but the non stop days are just taking its toll. I'm only 26 weeks but its just getting so hard throughout the day. I've started to get varicose veins or broken blood vessels in my upper thighs, I guess from the pressure.
I am only part time and my contracted hours are only 3 hours day, but I go in 2 hours early to help out, so a total of 5 hours a day (I know, not that much). Was thinking about cutting back to maybe just 4 hours a day, at least just a couple days a week. But I feel so ashamed and weak for feeling the need to do this. And so early on.
Is anyone else having a hard time at their work where they constantly stand and run around? How are you coping? I don't know what I should do. Maybe I'll mention it at my next doctor appt and get their advice. I'm just starting to get so physically and mentally drained. And I hate it. I feel so weak. 😞

What are you girls doing to help get through your day? I do have a belly band, but not sure if I'm wearing it correctly. Some days it helps and others it just doesnt...
Any advice? Thank you.
