Who comes first

In what's important to you as far as people- who is the most important relationship? Whose needs do you meet first?

100% my husband,  if I put him first and keep a healthy marriage,  we could TOGETHER put our kids first, and he puts me first making a well rounded cycle.

I think my own needs are of the upmost importance. If I can't take care of myself, I can't take care of anyone else.

I love my baby girl more that I can put into words. I love my husband completely. I spent the first 28 years of my life completely focused on myself because I was all I was responsible for.  After I got married I finally had to stop thinking that I was the only person mattered in my world.
My husband had committed himself to me and I was finally able to let go of the, "I only have one life so I'm going to only make myself happy." 
I didn't birth my new life partner when I had our daughter. I didn't have to love my husband less because she needed all my love. In fact, I feel like my love for him only grew.  I can love them both endlessly and still maintain my self love as well. It's hard to find a new balance when things that make you feel good about yourself seem to feel like a chore (putting on make up, getting to the salon), but eventually you figure out how to prioritize those things.  We all need our needs met. I need to feel well and happy so that I can maintain a healthy happy relationship with my husband so he can feel loved and content so we can work together to raise a happy healthy daughter. I don't love my husband and daughter in the same ways either. I love my daughter in a fiercely protective, amazement, attachment, mind boggling unending, unconditional love. I love my husband in an equal free flowing, give and take, lift up and lean on, funny and strength giving, respectful loyal love. I love myself in my humble self respecting confident way.
