What do you do all day at home with baby?

My baby is 5 weeks old and when she's awake for long periods of time, I don't know what to do with her! There's only so much "play" we can do at this age, I feel like, since she can't interact much or even seem to register too much of what is going on.  I want to give her my undivided attention all day, but it seems like I'd mostly just be starting at her while she coos and looks around??? 
On the flip side, how much undivided attention does she need? Maybe I'm pressuring myself too much? I know I can't literally give her my full attention all day long, as much as I'd like to.

Mine will NOT let me put her down (also 5 weeks), i feel like i am shackled to her.  If she is even somewhat awake she wants to be nursing and when she finally sleeps it is in my arms.  So i watch a lot if netflix and mentally think of all the things i could be doing!  Consider yourself lucky.  If she was happy to chill i would have a clean house and prob get out for walks or hikes!

You might be pressing yourself too much, Haha. When shes asleep of course you can put her down or do snuggles. When shes awake dont be afraid to put her down if you need to. Bring in the swing, rock n play, bouncer whatever it is you use and place her there while you make food or whatever it is. But you can talk to her and literally about anything!!!!! It does feel like you're talking to yourself but they knew your voice before birth, its comforting. If you have a sling or carrier use it at home and talk to them. 
You can always sing, start reading g books (doesn't have to be their's, if you're reading one read it out loud). Just make sure you are still doing tummy time, you can start showing toys. One thing I got was these flash cards that is black and white one side and colorful on the other and it helps with their vision. So I sit with my knees up and sit her up and just show her the cards. 
If you can take a walk start walking with the carrier. I felt the same way with my first, but once you keep doing it it comes second nature.

Baby hangs out in his lounger while I do mlochores, eat, etc. We cuddle in the morning and listen to classical music. If I need to take a shower I play some white noise on our Alexa and he goes right to sleep. He also loves to listen to me chomp on carrots. It sounds weird, but as soon as I start eating carrots, he gets really calm and attentive. I also watch Netflix while he naps, or get a few chores done. I was actually able to do dishes yesterday. 
I also always make my lunch the night before, so I don’t have to worry about preparing food if werehaving a rough day.

My son is 6 weeks old. He likes to hang out in his rock n' play, in the swing, and on his activity mat (all supervised of course). I read him books, talk to him, and play classical music on the radio for him. We cuddle too of course, but he's quite the wiggler so sometimes he's just happier moving around on the activity mat or on a blanket.

We have a little baby lounger pillow that I put him in on the couch next to me (supervised of course). Then he is nearby for whatever I do - watching TV, scrolling insta and fb, etc. I also try to get in some work at my desk in my office at home, so I hold him across my arms on the desk. We also like to sit on the back porch and throw the ball for our dog.

I literally just watch hulu and cuddle with my baby and when she wakes I feed her and spent time with her and sometimes I put her in the swing to sleep and I'll clean or watch hulu.

Hes 5 weeks. 
today we went to the park so my daughter could play, and I put him in my Lillebaby carrier and he just slept. But it was nice to get him out. 
But during the day when hes sleeping, I just put him down and clean and take care of what needs to be done. 
When I first brought him home, I couldn't put him down. I didn't want to. But I realized, that I have to put him down. or hell be clingy and fussy if hes not being held. I will have to go back to work eventually, and I want someone else to be able to watch him and not hate that hes clingy and fussy all the time.

I pop my daughter in a carrier and do my cleaning and just talk to her about what jobs I'm doing and what I need to do next and what I might do for tea . I've always spoke to her even in my tummy I just use to find it comforting knowing she was with me and still do now there is no wrong or right xxx
