So yesterday I went for my 38 week appointment. Doc did a cervical check and I was 70% effaced and 1 cm dilated. Last week I was neither effaced nor dilated. I just went to the bathroom and I’m positive I lost my mucus plug. It was a huge chunk of snot looking stuff. It was gross, and a lot. I’ve lost tiny bits of mucus here and there, but this was at least a tablespoon full, if not more. Any chance I could be going in to labor in the next few days? I’m just dying to meet my little guy.
