Update! 6 minutes apart and hospital is 20 minutes away. I think I’m gonna head in; even if they send me back home. I would feel much better once I’m checked out.

I would call labor and delivery and tell them how far apart they are. 
All hospitals have different policies as far as admitting goes.
My hospital won’t admit until contractions are only 4-5 minutes apart for over an hour and your 5cm dilated.
