Does the risk of miscarriage lower after seeing a heartbeat?

I saw my babies heartbeat at 5w6d which is pretty early. Does the risk of miscarriage lower because of this or does it stay the same?

I would assume it stays the same after having two late miscarriages . I saw both baby’s heartbeat and heard it as well, and still miscarried .

My doc said it lowers after they can pick it up on a Doppler. But I’m sure seeing it does too

Once a heartbeat is detected your chances are definitely better. The big ones are. Seeing heartbeat. 12 weeks. and ultrasound after 9 weeks showing a spine, arms and legs.

Nope. Not at not even 6 weeks. Heartbeats dont meam itll end up being a viable pregnancy. Chance of mc doesnt decrease till 12 weeks. Theres still a chance at any point. The first 12 weeks are typically the highest chances(still not too high) and most common point to miscarry in a pregnancy
