How far was labor after you lost your mucus plug?

Question

Lost mine today in one big chunk, no contractions. I'm 37 weeks. Wondering how much longer I have. When did you lose yours and how long till you went into labor?

I lost mine on Monday morning and was 37 weeks exactly as well. I have had on/off contractions the past 1.5 weeks and I have also been measuring 2 weeks ahead just about the entire time. I have had cramps all day today. My dr told me I most likely won't make it to me due date of October 5th. After 35/36 weeks, if you loose it, your most likely not going to regenerate it to to your cervix dialating. One of my friends lost it the morning before with her first and while in labor with her second. They say you most likely will go by 7-10 days after loosing it.

I lost mine in the early stages of labor at home before I went to the hospital. I had been having consistent contractions through the night and lost my MP around 9 the next morning. Went to the hospital at 12 and was dilated to almost 5. I think if it's too early it will regenerate but if it's time you generally lose it when labor is starting and you are making progress!
