Air Force or Navy?
I’m seriously considering joining the military because for one, I believe it’s an honor to serve, and most importantly, I believe it will really benefit me educational wise and financially. I am married to a marine. And I have always loved how the military offers so many benefits and opportunities for families. Of course I know it won’t be peaches and cream, but it will definitely be better than what I am doing now. I am 24 years old and we have no kids. I really want to be able to help my husband financially with bills and not have to depend on him financially for things, and I want a better career than what I have been doing which is customer service, minimum wage jobs. I have my associates degree and I eventually want to pursue interior design, that is my passion. I can’t afford to go to school to pursue a bachelors degree, so I love how the military can help pay for schooling. I ultimately I feel joining will help me become the woman I need and want to be which is more independent, be able to travel, and those bonuses are nice too. It can also help me understand my husband a little better lol (since he is in the military).
I will like to also work towards becoming an officer in the military so I know I need to continue with schooling, get my bachelors and so forth.
Okay after a little background, my question is, should I do Navy or the Air Force?
I visited a navy recruiter today and I really like what they have to offer. My husband suggested I do Air Force, so tomorrow I plan to make a visit to an Air Force recruiting office. I would like advice from anyone who has been in either branch and what your pros and cons are. Just to help me decide a little better.
