I had my first dr visit today where they confirmed I'm pregnant, took all of my blood, got my history and did an exam. Then they set me up for another appointment at 12 wks. I asked if there would be an ultrasound then and the NP said no - that they wait til later. I assume they'll use a doppler to hear the heartbeat at 12 wks. Is this the case with anyone else? I'm so anxious to see physical proof!
