Communism.... Yes or no?

By Communism I mean the economic theory favouring a classless society and the abolition of private property. 
Would this help your country or destroy it? 
Why?

Communism sound good in theory, but just like Capitalism, it hasn't worked out so well when put into practice.

Theoretically, communism is perfect. In practice, it fails!! I respect the idea, but human nature defies the whole idea of it

I think the confusion is the yes or no answers. It would have been easier if it said "help" or "hurt".

I grow up under communism regime and family was separated almost 40years for this. Its terrible to live under communism.

It sounds good but it wouldn't work. You are taking away freedoms plus the other countries who tried it failed so I don't see why the States would be any different.
