How to help constipation?

So I’ve had to supplement formula because my milk was low (potentially due to period)
And she normally doesn’t poop until a week.. so now I’ve supplemented formula and I had to stimulate her pooper with a thermometer and I noticed she cried and it was hardened and couldn’t really go. How can I help my sweet girl?

Do a lot of knees to chest during play time with her! My doctor said my daughter can have a spoonful of applejuice in the bottle if shes ever constipated and we have also noticed gripe water helps break down everything in the tummy and shes always able to pass a stool. Hope this helps!

I give my girl 6oz but only 5 scoops of formula when she’s struggling always gets it out haha

Start probiotics daily. It give your LO healthy bacteria’s that will help regulate her immature digestion system. I suggest probonix on Amazon. They gave an infant version and it’s really helped my little one. Plus my ped. Recommended it! It’s a little pricey but has the correct strains and doesn’t lack what other brands do.

Doc put our baby on a 1:1 ratio of prune juice. Daily dose of 1oz to 1oz of bm, formula or water!
