SO/DH at the 1st dating ultrasound?

Is this an important one for them to be at? From what I've heard we're not going to see much next week when we go in. I will be 6 weeks. But still. ..idk if it's important for him to be with.

My husband is very excited for our first appointment. I think it's just as important for him to know what's going on as it is for me. Plus I can't imagine him not being there if we find out its ectopic or out something else is wrong.

My love will probably not be able to make my first because of his job but I will be recording it so he can hear the heartbeat

I always thought that when I got pregnant I would want him at every scan, every test, but now that I am pregnant I know he doesn't need to be at every appointment, I go in for my dating scan tomorrow and he isn't coming, he knows how small it is and it will be just a dot on a screen, as long as he knows his baby and wife are healthy and happy that's all he and I need. The rest is just stuff. I know if I need him he isn't far away.

My DH thought it was kinda pointless to be there mostl because he didn't know why he was looking at.  He thought hearing the HB was kinda cool but other then that when we got the picture home he had me show him what we were actually looking at becaus she didn't want to look stupid asking in front of the nurse practitioner.

My husband was at all our ultrasounds the first time. It was really great because that preg ended in a missed miscarriage. He will definitely be at them all this time.

We heard and saw the heartbeat for the first time at 6weeks so I'd say it's a good appointment to be at! It was very special for my Husband and I :)

My husband requested half day since our first apt is in the later afternoon October 1st He will come to this one because they will do a sonogram so we both can see :) I should be around 8 weeks and from what I'm reading on here good chance to see and hear the heart .and then he will prob just go to the one when we find out the sex ☺️ other than that the apts are pretty basic from what I remember from my daughter 8 years ago

I don't have my first OB appointment until 9/28th. My husband has the day off so he'll come with me. He won't come with me to every appointment bc he has to work since I'll be missing work. He will come with me to the us when we find out the gender.

I'd love for him to be there but he most likely will be at work. Now for the gender reveal I HAVE to have him with me!
