Baby wearing for preemie...?

Our little one will be coming home at about 5 lbs (maybe less). Our baby carrier is only good down to 8 lbs. 
I’d love to be able to wear her, because she loves to snuggle and naps really well while upright. What have other mamas done for their preemies? Should I look into a wrap or something else?

My daughter was born at 5lbs 3oz but ended up losing quite a bit of weight and was around 4lbs 11-13oz at one point. 
I personally would just put a tight tank top on and slip her inside of it lol. Her belly would be on my chest and she would just sleep like that. Its not exactly ideal because you arent hands free, you have to keep a hand on baby at all times but it worked at lot better than you think it would. 🤷🏻‍♀️
I dont think they make carriers for such low weight. 
My second was 6lbs 9oz and i used a ktan with him and it worked great too!

I look after the Home 02 baby’s from my NICU. While I’m not sure what what sling the O2 canister shouldn’t be a problem. I order larger ones for the home and smaller one that come with a backpack. So you can get carry the O2 around xx

They’re starting to talk about sending us home from the NICU this weekend and she’s currently 4lbs 2.3oz. She’s going to be on oxygen, so I’m not even sure that baby-wearing is feasible, but I’d really like to.

Yes definitely do a wrap! I personally felt this was more snug and cozy for a newborn
