I have PCOS and endometriosis. The copper IUD, made me bleed 2x as much as normal, which was already enough to send me to the ER. The cramps were so severe that my husband came home to find me unconscious on the floor.HOWEVERMy best friend in the entire universe, has had 0 of those side effects, and is sailing through life!

My Dr. Says the only sort of birth control I can use is a copper IUD due to health issues and problems with synthetic hormones. Can anyone give me pros and cons as to why I should or shouldn't get this or have a personal experience with having one?
