Hair after a Brazilian wax?

Might be a dumb question, but I just got my first ever Brazilian wax, it went fine, the lady said I was an sasy wax, but when I got home and inspected the job theres a fair amount of missed hairs!
Is this normal for the first time? I know theres bound to be some missed but I'm going to need to pluck or shave a few areas...

If your hair was short then that would be why you still have missed pieces. If not, then it would be the esthetician’s fault. Either she used a cheap wax or she rushed.

You’re not supposed to shave after getting waxed , that defeats the whole purpose. And she might of missed some because the hair didn’t fully grow out where the wax could grab on to it. Unless it’s full hair strands then you should go back and complain.

Your smaller hairs are harder to get ahold of. It’s common. My girl will go back through with tweezers but that’s never fun. That’s why the place I go to always recommends scheduling your first one some time in advance and not shaving for 4weeks . After your first wax you will have a steady waxing schedule and won’t have the problem .
