Temper tantrums

How are you guys dealing with temper tantrums? My son cries and screams and sometimes he tries to smack me when he doesn’t get his way and he won’t stop until he does. I used to have a lot of patience but I slowly feel myself losing it. I’m a single parent right now (my husband is in rehab) and it’s getting harder by myself especially when the baby gets like this. I don’t yell at him. He’s a great baby and super nice and friendly and always smiling, it’s just when he doesn’t get his way all hell breaks lose. Idk what to do. 😩😖😥
