What does it mean if your discharge is like yellow?

If it has a fishy smell, and you have itchiness down there it could be an STI (sexually transmitted infection) called Bacterial Vaginosis. I get them everytime I change partners/have unprotected sex. You need antibiotics for this. So I suggest talking to your gyno to take a swab just to be sure. Good luck!

Always remember that on toilet paper, discharge could have a different looking color than just straight white. Also if you're on a specific kind of birth control or antibiotics then it can change the color of your discharge. Ever since I've been on the pill mine has been an off white/pale yellow and I've been checked many times since.  It also depends on the time of the month depending on your cycle. The time you need to really be worried is if it all of a sudden changes, especially after sexual intercourse or if it smells, burns, itches. Could even be a yeast infection or bacterial infection. But I always recommend going to the gyno just to be sure. But if everything ones back fine, don't be worried about it. It could very well just be you.
