Communication goes a long way with things like this. Maybe there is a compromise you can come to. I went to a kink 101 class to see if I’d learn anything else besides what hubby and I are already doing with each other. The sex/couples therapist who teaches the classes said communication and compromise with each other will get the other person to understand/research the kink that you may be interested and come around to that compromise or experimenting with the kink. She also had a great quote and motto for people who may kink shame others. Motto is “don’t yuck my yum” basically meaning just because you aren’t into the other persons kink doesn’t mean you get to shame it and that’s where the communication and compromise comes in.

Depends. My hubby was not into BDSM at first, and knew nothing about it (FYI: he's the only man I've been with but I always new I was kinky). When I first introduced him to it, he was scared of hurting me and nervous. Then I realized that after a few drinks he was more adventurous, and I saw that as a chance to introduce him! After a couple scenes where he had to have a few drinks, he started to honestly get into it. Now he loves it! He even got me a collar with his name on it and everything😋
