Should I start buying wipes/diapers?

I’ve read that people are buying wipes and diapers and that you can exchange them if baby is allergic

I bought Costco wipes, 900 wipes for 21.99 I thought that was a good deal so I say go for it!

I got the sensitive skin hypo allergenic wipes anyways and I use Kirkland signature diapers for my daughter as they are the best fit and what works for her. I plan to use the same for baby #2. I found that buying what you feel like buying is the best way to do it. If you want to stockpile diapers do it if not no shame. Ask for a variety of diapers for your baby shower. Small packages of each brand to sample in the first month then choose what works beat for you is my advice. Thats what we did.

I would hold off on stocking up on too many wipes, maybe get a gift car with money on it for wipes that way you have the funds set aside. Diapers I think would be fine just don't get too many of one size... our daughter was 5lbs 13 oz. But still only used one box of newborn diapers so you don't want to overstock. My girl also had such bad skin issues with the Pampers wipes that everyone gave us so I would be wary about that!

I don’t. We have a baby fund. We just save up. We might buy 1 pack of Newborn Pampers and Huggies because those are the only diapers that have worked for any of my kids. Other than that, I wait. Because They all have been so different. 
As far as wipes. We already buy wipes for my other littles.

I coupon for my wipes and diapers 🙂 stock up! Save receipts. Places will let you exchange. My son couldn’t use Huggies and I had over 60 soft packs I had to exchange 😬🙈
