Will you continue to use the Rock N Play after the recall?

I see lots of people saying “yes, buckled.” However, 32 deaths have been reported in the Rock N Play since 2015. 10 of the 32 were linked to misuse of the product(not using the safety straps / using with babies who roll) but the other 22 of the 32 deaths were linked to positional asphyxia due to the incline of the device obstructing baby airways. I used it for my son who is now 9 months we loved it and only used it as directed... when I was supervising him. However, I am due with baby #2 in November and my husband and I decided to discontinue use as it’s been RECALLED. I wouldn’t dream put my baby in a recalled car seat, not sure why any other baby product is any different.

I’ll be using it with the buckle and while I’m supervising. It’s not really meant to be used once the babies are mobile and definitely not to be used without the harness or overnight. I’m actually going to buy a second one so my twins each have one.

My personal opinion is that the product was not used with proper supervision... I will use it and once baby can roll I will no longer use it.

We have one but it’s new in the box. We will probably return it and just see what we can get instead.

We have two at the daycare I work at, we're keeping it unless a parent complains. I don't really have a say in the matter tho, because I don't do the budget

I’m returning mine on Monday, it’s not worth the risk to me. I don’t judge anyone for keeping it though. I’m just a worrier by nature.

Actually I bought one two months before the recall and I’ve been struggling with the debate. I wouldn’t use it without the buckle, but still if something happened I’d die of guilt.

Just had someone buy me one for my baby shower~ almost 80$ spent and was the best gift i received, ive only heard amazing things about it until a few days ago~ i just think it’s crazy how this just surfaced... seems fishy
