Have you ever had shingles? If so what age

My husband recently got diagnosed with shingles. As well all know the virus is in you if you had chicken pox. So I thought no big deal. Well I asked the pharmacy about him getting the vaccine and they said yeah but he had to be clear for 6 months when I told him his age they said they couldnt with out a dr consent since hes so young hes 28.

I had them at 22 though I had no idea what it was! I just thought "weird spots down my back - it must be a rash." Only after it had cleared up a couple of weeks later (entirely on its own as I'd not bothered going to see my GP) that it cropped up in conversation and my sister, who's a doctor, pointed out that I'd had shingles lol

My brother just got shingles he is 40 we were laughing at him in a playful loving way isn't that an old person thing his doctor says they don't even give you the shot till after 60 because it only last so many years he was also told stress can cause an outbreak

At first it started as a patch of my skin hurt to the touch. Then the next day there were bumps. They started from my lower back, going up my side.

I was 14 years old when I had the shingles! My doctor never seen someone so young have them.. They were very painful that I wouldn't go to school. At first it looked like a rash! It was on my stomach by my hip and I showed my Nan and she told me it was the shingles because she had them.
