Can you get braces on the NHS with maternity exemption card??

I totally forgot to ask my dentist at my last visit. My mum keeps telling me to ask since my top teeth are have moved in different directions over the years.
Anyway please let me know your experiences too if possible

Doubt it, normally it only covers general dentistry work and repair. Braces when an adult I think class as cosmetic so it won’t be covered. I couldn’t even see they hygienist on the nhs mat card and braces cost much more than that

It depends on how much they cost I think. When I got my card it came with a letter/ leaflet stating what you can use it for and I believe it said it covers up to £2,000 of dental work.
